This Speaker
James is the Head of Board Advisory in the EMEA region. He is a governance and board effectiveness specialist, with over 17 years’ experience working with some of the world’s largest and most complex companies as well as numerous dynamic, high-growth organisations. James joined Nasdaq in 2021 from Deloitte, where he served as Director leading its board effectiveness and wider governance transformation work.
Considered an international governance thought-leader, James has spoken and been published across EMEA and beyond with leading institutions including the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
Based in London, James has experience of supporting clients across Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Global Governance and Ethics from University College London (UCL), is a graduate of the Sustainability Leadership Programme at Imperial College London Business School and is a member of the Society for Corporate Governance.
