Build a strong culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
About
This Webinar
Take a front-row seat with CGI membership as we explore Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) with philanthropy expert Yolanda F Johnson, good governance connoisseur David Duffy and edTech guru Nancy Spears.
This exciting and exclusive webinar will:
- Explain why DEI should be a success from the start
- Demonstrate why botched DEI efforts can cause serious harm to businesses
- Discuss how to follow DEI principles across all organisational levels.
Today’s corporate stakeholders will regularly demand a robust DEI culture, but the problem is many in governance still don’t understand it fully. Good DEI raises awareness, creates a positive atmosphere and unwinds unconscious bias. This webinar will guide you on the information your board and executive team need for this.
You and your organisation will be empowered to improve your DEI strategy – reflecting modern standards and principles. If your organisation has no DEI strategy, this knowledge share will give you a strong start.
Your key takeaways:
- A run-through of the main goals and risks to consider when rolling out DEI.
- Discussion on where a change in DEI culture will come from. Is it top-down or bottom-up? Is it a mix of both?
- Give you the motivation to get proactive now and begin changing the systems that need to be changed.
