Tell us about your professional experience before discovering the Corporate Governance Institute.*
With 20 years of experience in the energy industry, I have held diverse finance roles internationally, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial planning and analysis (FP&A) audit, and treasury.
My background also spans commercial and strategy roles, where I’ve led strategic initiatives and supported commercial growth. This broad foundation has given me the ability to navigate complex and high-stakes environments. However, I am eager to continue learning, which is why I’ve recently been upskilling myself on corporate governance, generative AI and digital transformation.
What challenges or opportunities were you facing in your career or on your board before taking our course?
I faced challenges like driving energy transition strategies to address climate change, promoting diversity and inclusion, managing cybersecurity risks, and adapting to geopolitical shifts.
