Before doing the Diploma in Corporate Governance, I had built a career in investment management.

What challenges or opportunities were you facing in your career or on your board before taking our course?

I felt that I was stuck at my level, and unable to climb further.

Why did you choose to study for the Diploma in Corporate Governance with us to help with these challenges/opportunities?

The diploma had immediate relevance to my investment work, as I often advise companies on their own governance. In the back of my mind, I also felt that learning more about governance might also help unlock my own career development.

Can you describe any particular elements of the course that stood out to you or made a significant impact?

The role of the Board in decision making was very helpful.

How has completing this course influenced your career, leadership approach, or governance or ESG skills?

Since completing the course I have been offered a CEO role, and the first thing that I did was create a Board!
