How to tackle CSRD – a Corporate Governance Podcast
How to tackle CSRD: the latest edition of the corporate governance podcast explores a crucial new regulation in the European Union and what you can do to comply. It’s a must for your ESG education.
How to tackle CSRD
Join your host, Dan Byrne, and Mark Kane, CEO and founder of sustainabilIT, a firm dedicated to maximising the use of technology to achieve sustainability goals.
The two discuss CSRD or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. This new piece of EU legislation is putting increased pressure on thousands of companies to be more transparent in their sustainability reporting.
Basically, the rules have gotten tougher, and their reach has grown wider. Your company doesn’t even need to be headquartered in the European Union for the rules to apply to you; as long as you reach a certain turnover threshold inside the bloc, you’ll also need to comply.
But it doesn’t have to be all about fear. CSRD is manageable with the right outlook, technology and skillsets.
Dan and Mark will tell you more.
