Tell us about your professional experience before discovering the Corporate Governance Institute.

My career has been in the energy sector in corporate development, M&A and financing roles within multi-national companies and private equity funds. I am driven by a desire to make an impact and deliver high quality performance in a purpose-driven, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

What challenges or opportunities were you facing in your career or on your board before taking our course?

I was recently invited onto Boards as an advisor, Director or within Funds as an independent investment committee member. I realised that I needed to develop a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of these roles and how to apply best practices in corporate governance.
