As the head of Global Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at ISS, Margot is a leading voice in diversity and inclusion initiatives, directing and implementing ISS’s integrated strategies across five global dimensions – Cultures & Ethnicity, Abilities, Gender, Sexual Orientation/LGBT+, and Generations & Age. As a representative in global forums such as ‘The Valuable 500’ movement, Margot is passionately driving workplace standards and advocating for disability inclusion. Margot’s career began as a chef before she moved into management, ultimately becoming CEO of Sodexo Ireland in 2012 and Country President in 2015. In 2019, she was appointed Global Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Sodexo Group. During her tenure, Sodexo co-founded and signed Ireland’s first Diversity Charter, and Margot has been honoured with the Knight of the National Order of Merit by the French Ambassador to Ireland.
Margot’s advocacy and achievements have been widely recognized, including being named one of the WXN 25 Most Powerful Women in Ireland Business Leaders and featuring in the Financial Times’ Top 100 OUTstanding LGBT Business Leaders for four consecutive years. Recently, Margot has been shortlisted for the Diva Awards and the IMAGE PwC 2023 Businesswoman of the Year Awards – Diversity and Inclusion Businesswoman of the Year. Margot is also a member of the Workplace Pride Council and co-chaired the Irish NGO involved in passing the 2015 Marriage Equality Act in Ireland.
